It is important to know zoning laws and make sure you have the proper building permit for your area. In hiring our company, you will not have to need to worry about permits, as we will handle all of this for you. Often in Seattle, there are strict laws around commercial excavation and we will make sure your project goes smoothly.

Once all the zoning permits are in place, we will be ready to begin digging the foundation for your Seattle commercial excavation project. We start by clearing the property of any debris, including tree stumps, bushes, and all other types of vegetation. All roots will be removed at least 30cm below the foundation level, to make sure there is no damage to your foundation. Next, we will begin placing pillars to outline the foundation of your project. Depending on the shape and the type of soil, we will place the planks in a vertical pattern to best protect the foundation. After that, we will dig out the ground and then begin to pour the concrete. We will also drill a drainage system to make sure your Seattle commercial excavation project is protected from mold, mildew, and other water damage.

Once the basics are complete, we will being to pour concrete for the walls. Anchor bolts and beam pockets will also be added, with placement determined by an engineer. These will be needed later to place the structural beams in the new building. Following this step, a waterproofing layer will be added, followed by about 3-4 inches of concrete poured to stabilize the walls. Last, we will push backfill into the trenches around the building which provides an outer layer of support.

Please let us know if you have any questions, and we look forward to working with you on your Seattle commercial excavation project.
